Gespräch mit einem InderI: Hi, how are you?
P: Good, yourself?
I: Tik hai. You finished your exams?!
P: Yes, finally! How about you?
I: Yes, I had two exams, three presantation and three papers. I did not sleep in the last two weeks. Are you going home to your country?
P: No, I am going to Goa to do research, and my mom is coming for Christmas.
I: Wow, your mom! I am going home to Pune/Varanasi/Patna/Trivandum. When is your flight? Are you in JNU next semester?
P: Sunday, at ten and yes. So - merry Christmas and a happy new year, see you!
Gespräch mit einem ForeignerF: Hi, how are you?
P: Good, yourself?
F: Thanks, you had exams?
P: Yes, three. And you?
F: I need to finish a paper, then I'm done./I don't have exams, my Uni just wants to know that I went to class./I am not a student, I just enjoy the atmosphere on campus.
P: Oh, ok. Your going to travel somewhere?!
F: Yes - Nepal/Thailand/Tamil Nadu/Kerala/Australia/home to the US/Germany/Japan.
P: Are you coming back to Delhi?
F: Yes, for a day/in January/maybe next year. How about you?
P: Yes - and I am going to Goa to do research, and my mom is coming for Christmas.
F: Wow - research in Goa?! So - we'll catch up there/next year in Delhi/Paris/Berlin/on facebook.
P: Right. See you again, nice to meet you.
